These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings made with Morotour (“we”, “us”, “our”) through morotour.com. By booking, you (“the customer”) accept these terms on behalf of everyone in your party.
1. Booking and confirmation
A booking is made when you complete the booking form and pay the required deposit or full amount online. Your contract with us begins only when we send you a written booking confirmation by email. Please check it carefully and tell us at once if anything is incorrect.
2. Prices and payment
Prices are shown per person in euros (€) and reflect the option and group size you select. To secure a booking you pay either a 30% deposit or the full amount. Where a deposit is paid, the balance is due 14 days before departure, or in cash on arrival by prior written arrangement. Card and PayPal payments may carry a surcharge of approx. 5%. We may adjust an unconfirmed price for currency or supplier-cost changes; once confirmed, your price is fixed.
3. Cancellation and refunds by you
The deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel a confirmed booking, the following applies by how many days before departure we receive your written cancellation:
Multi-day desert tours (Merzouga, Zagora, Marrakech–Fes)
- 30+ days before: any balance paid is refunded; your deposit can be converted to a credit valid 12 months.
- 15–29 days before: 50% of the total price refunded.
- 7–14 days before: 25% of the total price refunded.
- Under 7 days, or no-show: no refund.
Day trips (Essaouira, Ouzoud, Ourika)
- Private day trips: free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup; inside 48 hours, or no-show: no refund.
- Shared day trips: free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup; inside 24 hours, or no-show: no refund.
Activities (quad biking, Agafay desert dinner)
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the activity; inside 24 hours, or no-show: no refund.
A “no-show” means failing to arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled departure or start time. Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 business days.
4. Changes and cancellation by us
If we must change or cancel your tour — for example due to weather, safety, force majeure, or (for shared tours) not reaching the minimum number of participants — we will offer a suitable alternative, a new date, or a full refund. We are not liable for further costs you may incur, such as separately booked flights or accommodation.
5. Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, war, terrorism, civil unrest, epidemics or pandemics, government restrictions, strikes, or road closures.
6. Rescheduling
You may request one free date change for a multi-day tour if you ask 30+ days before departure, subject to availability and any seasonal price difference. Rescheduling does not reset the cancellation windows above.
7. Your responsibilities
- Hold a valid passport (at least six months’ validity) and any required visas.
- Arrange your own comprehensive travel insurance (see clause 8).
- Be in adequate health and fitness for your chosen tour, and tell us in writing at booking of any medical, dietary, or accessibility needs.
- Be ready at the agreed pickup time and place.
- Behave respectfully and follow the reasonable instructions of your guide or driver.
8. Travel insurance
We strongly recommend that every traveller holds comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, and personal belongings. For adventure activities such as quad biking, please ensure your insurance covers them, as these are undertaken at your own risk.
9. Age and minors
Travellers under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who accepts these terms on their behalf. For quad biking, passengers must be at least 16, drivers must meet the operator’s minimum age, and a parent or guardian must sign the required waiver for anyone under 18. All quad-biking participants sign an indemnity form and acknowledge the activity is at their own risk.
10. Conduct
We may decline to carry, or remove from a tour, any person whose behaviour endangers others, breaks the law, or seriously disrupts the group, without refund.
11. Itinerary changes
Itineraries are a guide. Local conditions, weather, or road access may require us to adjust the order of stops or substitute a comparable alternative. We always aim to deliver the essential experience described.
12. Liability
We arrange tours with care using trusted local partners. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of independent third-party suppliers, or for losses that were not foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Complaints
If something goes wrong during your tour, tell your guide or contact us immediately so we can put it right. If you remain unhappy, email contact@morotour.com within 30 days of your tour, and we will respond promptly.
14. Photography
We may take photos or video during group tours for our website and social media. If you prefer not to appear, let your guide know and we will respect that.
15. Privacy
We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, and any dispute is subject to the courts of MARRAKECH, Morocco. Where you are a consumer resident in the EU, mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence may also apply.
